Hello, Chicago! ✈️☕🦊

After a delayed flight (don’t ask 😅), I’m finally here, and the Back Porch Play Co. booth is starting to come together. It’s amazing how quickly the stress of travel fades when you start unpacking books, sensory materials, and all the little pieces that make this dream feel real.

Tomorrow I’ll be presenting at the NAFCC Conference, and I truly can’t wait.

One of my favorite parts of conferences isn’t standing in front speaking —it’s meeting early childhood educators from all over the country. We all have different classrooms, different children, and different stories, but we share the same heart: helping little learners grow through relationships, play, and meaningful experiences.

I’m looking forward to talking, playing, sharing ideas, learning from others, and hopefully sending everyone home with a few simple strategies they can use the very next day.

Now… if only I could figure out how to squeeze everything I want to share into 90 minutes! 😂 Every time I practice, I think of one more story, one more activity, or one more idea that I just have to tell.
