April is an early childhood educator with over 20 years of classroom experience. Her philosophy is simple: Children learn best through play, connection, and everyday moments— not pressure or perfection. She founded Back Porch Play Co. to share real strategies that work in real classrooms, especially for supporting sensory needs, communication development, and inclusive learning.
